#FabFemaleFridays - FEMOLOGY EDITION

Hello! I hope you've been well! Happy November. This fabulous Friday I'd like to do a deep dive into the women's empowerment movement that's taking Michigan by storm. I'd like to introduce a personal favorite, Femology.

What is Femology?

If you Google Femology, the first thing you'll probably see is their website description which states: "Femology is a haven for the creative, the ambitious, the change makers, and the trailblazers. It is the ultimate business advocate for women providing the mentorship and social community needed to thrive in their businesses." I don't believe they could've described the organization any better! Think of all the warm and fuzzy feels when you walk into a beautifully designed room with dozens of smiling faces and reaaaallly cute outfits to admire on women who are taking over the world. Swoon.

THE IMPACT:

Since my introduction to Femology at the Female Millionaires event in October of 2018, I have been obsessed with the way they curate these amazing events in a safe place that aims to connect and promote collaboration among other beautifully talented women who are Doing. Their. Thing. You are guaranteed to meet women of all walks of life (there's always your fair share of doctors, lawyers, engineers, marketing consultants, students, teachers and life coaches!) ALL of them are superwomen gracefully balancing the demands of life while creating dope content for the betterment of the world. From my experience, I certainly don't walk away having met everyone in the room, however, I ALWAYS leave with genuine connections with women who are always down to brainstorm on collabs, grab lunch or happy hour and I can promise you that all though the thought of being surrounded by 50+ powerful women at one time can be a little daunting (especially if you roll up to these events by yourself like me!), you will leave feeling a few things:

1. Focused on perfecting your craft

2. Inspired by powerful women walking in their callings

3. Ready to conquer your industry

4. Equipped and empowered with the tools you need to succeed

In simpler terms, you'll walk out of those events feeling on FIRE!

EVENT BREAKDOWN: WHAT TO EXPECT

If I haven't yet mentioned this enough, you can expect to leave Femology events with new blogger besties and potential content creator buddies, or even a new mentor or nail tech! The possibilities are endless. But lets talk about the DETAILS.

The Speakers/Panelist:

Like I mentioned previously, when you attend a Femology event, prepare to leave INSPIRED by some amazing gems of wisdom that are passed on to you by women who have not only conquered through their life experiences, but also built something beautiful within them. Most you'll meet have taken the adversity life threw them and turned that into thriving businesses and organizations that now fuel callings that are bigger than themselves. To ever speaker/panelist that I've been blessed to be able to hear, we lift you up on this #FabFemaleFriday!

Food/Snack/Drink Bars:

These NEVER fail. Femology truly knows how to create a spread of delicious finger foods, desserts and signature drinks so that you are never without something to munch and sip on while you are getting your networking on. The vendors/sponsors they gather for their events are carefully thought out and each creation literally taste like its made from pure love - and mostly women.

The Decor:

Long story short, Femology events are PERFECT for those dreamy Instagram pics we want. I can only imagine the amount of time the Femology team spends choosing their event locations and decorating the spaces so that they flow beautifully and the event photographers (who are ALWAYS fantastic) can capture beautiful "in the moment" photos around every corner. This also makes for any time to be the perfect time to grab your new besties and take tons of selfies!

What You Learn

I don't know about anyone else who has ever attended a Femology event, however, when I leave I always walk out loving my individual God-created self a little more. The fact that I get the opportunity to interact with so many BOSS women who are genuinely engaging with you and are looking to build on possible synergies with enthusiasm is incredible. I've built bonds through Femology. Mentors. Friends. FEMALE BUSINESSES TO SUPPORT! Brunch Babes. Bible Study Partners. Alllllll that & then some! Salute to you, Femology, for shattering the division between powerful women by just encouraging everyone who walks in your doors to just be their ultimate self. We're grateful for you.
