Hey fam! I hope you've been well! If you have, Praise God! If you haven't, what's up?! Are you stressed? Feeling low or alone? Not confident in yourself or your purpose? Or do you not know how to take the first step into your purpose? Whatever it is, I've been feeling like someone needs to hear what the Holy Spirit tells me in those moments where I feel like I need to SEE growth in all areas. Below are my Top 5 Ways To Boss Up Your Life (With Christ and scripture, of course!)

1. Seek wise counsel

One of our biggest mistakes is that we occasionally believe that we can do EVERYTHING on our own. The biggest misconception is that we can serve the world and fulfill our God-given destinies by ourselves, when in reality we rely on God to even provide us with our next breath. It's time for us to realize that in order to reach our full potential, we need a tight circle of God-fearing people who are constantly praying over us and leading us closer to Christ, but most importantly, they should be able to provide sound and wise advice that aligns with the Word. Seriously. That's the most important thing. If someone "close" to you is pulling you down and pushing you to do things contrary to the Bible...run!

Scripture References: Job 12:13; Proverbs 20:18

2. Work Diligently

This is important too, friends. Please do not grow weary. Continue to refresh yourself with the Word of God and continue to find your peace in Him. As you are chasing that spectacular, one-of-a-kind destiny that was created for you, remain attentive and alert to whatever the assignment is calling you to do. Limit distractions and focus all your energy to the matter at hand. It is time to be Purpose-Minded. You are encouraged to rest and recharge when needed, however, we are completely cutting out laziness and procrastination. I'M TALKING TO MYSELF ALSO.

Scripture References: Proverbs 12:24; Proverbs 10:4

3. Be Faithful With Your Few

I rebuke all negative thoughts sent by the devil who attempts to make you believe that you are in a season of lack. Christ said if we seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness FIRST, then everything else we need will be provided to us. Don't you think your Creator, the one who birthed the purpose within you, knows exactly what you need and exactly what He needs to give you at any given moment? We shouldn't be caught up in the material things we don't have and we should figure out how to put to good use all that we've been given! Even the ideas in our head. Write that vision and make it plain (Hab. 2:2)! I am working on this myself. I feel like I've been sitting on gold for a while now in a lot of different areas of my life. I'm working on it though!! When I finally get the opportunity to meet Jesus, I want Him to embrace me hard and whisper in His calm, still voice, "Well done, my good and faithful servant".

Scripture References: Matthew 25:21; Matthew 6:33

4. Seek Out the Fruits of the Spirit

Love, Joy, Peace, Kindness, Gentleness, Faithfulness, Goodness, Patience and Self-Control. Now these things may sound simple and your initial thought may have been that you already possess the majority of these attributes. However, if you do a self-reflecting inventory check, you may find out that the world is giving you a few false perceptions of what love or kindness actually are. To obtain the Truth, go directly to the Source. All of these things are freely given by the Holy Spirit to push you forward in your greatness and will benefit your character resume, purpose plan and personal portfolio. Scripture Reference: Galatians 5:22-23; 2 Corinthians 3:17

5. Protect Your Mind, Body and Soul

Believe the Word and know that our daily battles are not with flesh and blood, but with spirits and principalities that are only out to steal, kill and destroy. Constantly renew your mind with scripture. Make healthier food choices daily and exercise a few times a week. Pray often. The Bible actually tells us to pray without ceasing and to constantly give thanks, because that is the will of God in Christ Jesus. Ask God to create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you. Distance yourself from negative energy. Find joy and peace in your Creator who is the prime example of unconditional love and sacrifice. Protect your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

Scripture References: Psalm 51:10; Romans 12:2; Proverbs 4:23

Well friends, that's all for now. You are more than equipped to begin walking in your purpose RIGHT NOW. Like, NOW NOW. So it's time to boss up. You have everything you need, just get started. I hope these tips encourage you to continue to keep pushing forward and know that you are not on this journey alone.

xoxo,

Kris
